| (NEW) I have often wondered why Jesus asked the rhetorical
question, “Will I find faith on the earth when I return” (Luke 18:8)? What did He foresee that could
possibly cause an erosion of faith in the hearts of His followers? Of all the
qualities that are inherent in the life of the Christian, why did Jesus single
out faith as the barometer He would use to evaluate us upon His return? The
answer is simple: the longer we live, the harder it is see genuine faith in
operation. |
| (NEW) What are the comparisons and contrasts between Positional ("a snapshot, an event") and Progressive ("motion picture, a process") Sanctification? |
| How many times have we heard some athlete or celebrity
herald this caveat in an attempt to explain why they were injured in a game,
cut from the team, not re-signed to a contract, dumped from their TV role or some
other equally unpleasant situation? Their disclaimer-on-demand is
simply, “Everything happens for a reason… it just wasn’t meant to be.”
Amazingly, while they appear to be so philosophical in their response to this
crisis, they never seem to tell you what the reason was for their
disappointment.

| Why does it seem that God uses reins on
the race horses and spurs on the turtles? I can see the reason to spur the
turtles, but why restrain the race horse? Aren’t we in a hurry to win the lost,
save the world and prepare the Bride of Christ for the wedding? The answer to
these questions is an unequivocal “YES”. But Christ is also interested in
limiting the list of casualties during the process and, as the National
Transportation Department tells us, “Speed Kills.” |
| We have all heard the age-old question, "Why do bad things happen to good people?" But what about when good things happen to bad people? Does the Bible have anything to say about that? |
| In case you have not noticed, we have gradually
moved into the “Hybrid Age.” We have witnessed this phenomenon where two
animals or plants from two different species are mixed in order to produce an offspring
of a hybrid (Latin: “a crossbred animal”) nature. Before the days of being
politically correct, we called them “mongrels,” “mutations” or “half-breeds.” Though we live in the Hybrid Age, God’s
continuous message throughout the Sacred Scriptures was for His people to stay
separated, distinct and unpolluted from the world. |

| For
hundreds of years there was a common denominator existing in the vast majority
of churches. From the Methodists, Presbyterians, Baptists, Nazarenes, to the
Pentecostals you would usually find that the songs helped bridge the
theological gaps and allowed you to worship with those not of your own
denomination. |
